True love will never forget

Romeo arrived earlier than Paris in the tomb of Juliet. He mourned and he kissed Juliet first before ending his life through the poison he got from Apothecary. Juliet woke up and realized that Romeo had killed himself for he thought that she had been dead. Juliet cried and she decided to follow Romeo by ending her life too. She reached for the vial but it was already empty. She saw a dagger and she was about to stab herself when Paris came. Paris stopped her from killing herself. He did everything to convince her to go back to Verona but she didn’t listen to him. Good thing some servants arrived and Paris commanded them to take Juliet back to Capulet’s Mansion. They held both hands of Juliet so she wasn’t able to kill herself.
                Juliet became very depressed. She wouldn’t eat, talk and all she just did was to cry every night.  On the other hand, the Montague visit the tomb where Romeo had died. They were very sad and they had investigated what caused his death. They saw a vial in a corner so a servant was commanded to find where Romeo got the poison. They had discovered that it was from Apothecary. Apothecary revealed that it wasn’t a poison that would kill a person; it was just a potion that would make the body sleeping for 48 hours like he was already dead and it would also cause amnesia. Upon hearing this, they went to the tomb to get his body. The Montague instructed Benvolio to bring Romeo in Combio, a faraway place, so he can restart a new life there away from Juliet and away from danger.
                After many years, Juliet had already moved on. She seemed to be back to her normal state though there still a part of her that lacked. Romeo was succeeding in his life. He became a nice son and he fulfilled his duties well. Romeo and Juliet’s path crossed and just like their first meeting, they would fall in love with each other. Romeo would approach Juliet and Juliet would be very surprised. Juliet was almost in tears when Romeo had kissed her hand. Even though Romeo had forgotten about their past, he would still love Juliet like no one else. Their families are still against their relationship until they had thought of a plan.

                One day, they both called their families to go to a certain place in Combio. Here they would do their plan. Both families are intrigued by the fact that they were both called in the certain place in Combio. Romeo and Juliet arrived with their hands intertwined together. Both families were surprised and they kept on insisting to stop their relationship. Romeo and Juliet showed their hands holding a vial each with a poison inside. They told them that if they would keep on being against their relationship, they would just end both their lives so they can enjoy being together in heaven. This plan seemed to be ridiculous but it worked out. The family decided to end hating each other for the sake of their children. With these, they got married and had a child named Julio.  They lived peacefully though they had faced many struggles in life.

Blog 5

Dear Teachers
 Good day Ma’am!
            First of all, I want to say thank you for everything. I want to give my deepest gratitude to all of you.
            Since the first time we stepped on the gates of our schools; you were there already; welcoming us in our new second home. Even though you still don’t know us, you welcomed us like you knew us very well. You guided us to our rooms and then the real goal started. You taught us lessons in acads and values as well.  The lessons you gave us every day are priceless compared to other things. Aside from these academic stuffs, the values you imparted to us are very significant in our lives, You molded us to better individuals. I couldn’t imagine myself being like this without every one of you.
            Things aren’t always perfect. There are times when we had some misunderstandings because of our behaviors.  We know that we have so many flaws and imperfections in life but you accepted us wholeheartedly. The role you had played in our lives was incomparable and I can say you had played that role better than anyone else.
            I can compare you all to a book. Books that come in different types, styles and genres. Books that provide different types of knowledge. Usually, you’re like a textbook who gives us information about the everyday lessons in different subjects. Sometimes you’re like a humorous book that makes us happy whenever we feel down and lights up the mood in the class. There are times when you are like a Drama book that tells us some real experiences in life that gives us lessons. You can also be a guide book that tells us what to do in a certain situation. You guide us in our happy and dark times in school. You also tend to be a romance book who let us feel the love from a second mother and as teacher. Lastly, you are like a bible because you are unique and special and at the same time, you are very important to us.

            Again, I want to say thank you for everything. Happy Teachers’ Day Ma’am. Enjoy your day and God bless!

A Man of Patriotism

I would like to interview Andres Bonifacio because I know he had been a fighter of our nation to regain our nation’s independence. I want to clarify some things and at the same time, I want to know some of his characteristics that made him unique in his own. Andres Bonifacio was the first president of the Katipunan, a revolutionary group Anti Spaniards Colony, who was sentenced to be killed. Even though he didn’t have the chance to study, he had created many articles and letters concerning our country. Through his patriotism, he fought for our land and he sacrificed his life.
First Interview:  The Philippines is under the colony of Spaniards
Me: Good morning Mr. Bonifacio! I am here to ask some questions about your personality and other things with connection to our country.
Bonifacio: Ok you may start.
Me: What if your parents are still alive, do you think you’ll have this kind of life?
Bonifacio: If ever they are still alive, I will be able to finish my studies and I can have a good job but it doesn’t mean that I will not join revolutionary groups for our country. I think my current situation right now is destined to happen and I am not regretting any from it.
Me: What will you do if the Spanish Regime continues implementing immoral and unethical rules in our country?
Bonifacio: If they continue implementing this immoral system, I will surely start a group against them. I’ll do everything I can to stop them from their plans in our land. I want the Filipinos to open their eyes and fight for our nation’s freedom.
Me: What if they succeed with their plans in our country?
Bonifacio: No matter what happens, I’ll do my very best to stop them. If they succeed, I’ll still continue being against them even my life lies in it. I will never stop fighting for our country as long as freedom isn’t with us.
Me: What is your dream for our country?
Bonifacio: Aside from being free and progressive, I want it to attain its highest peak wherein positivity is dominating. Instead of crimes and cruelty, happiness and love exist every day.
Second Interview: KKK is established
Me: What if the Spaniards discover your secret group, KKK?
Bonifacio: I can’t control this matter but if they discover our group, I’ll start fighting them. Maybe we’ll change some of our plans but our main goal will never change, and that is to set our country free. I am determined to succeed for our country’s freedom.
Me: Please don’t be offended with this question. Now that you are the president of KKK, what if other members judge you because of your lack in education? I can sense something with Mr. Tirona( member) who doesn’t have enough trust with you, Mr. Bonifacio but I am not sure with it.
Bonifacio: I also know that. If they judge me, I’ll still continue ruling them with all my might. Even though I didn’t have the opportunity to finish my studies, it doesn’t mean I don’t know a thing. I study on my own and I strive hard to learn. I also think that not everything depends on your knowledge, you moral values matter the most.
Me: What if some of KKK members become traitors or what if they decide to put you in a lower position since they think you lack in terms of knowledge?
Bonifacio: If they do this to me, I will leave the group and create a new one. I am the founder of KKK and placing me in a lower position because of that insolent idea is not right. They shall not treat me like this for I always do my best for our country. I never been a traitor and I fulfill my own words. If I say, I’ll fight for our country; no matter what happens, I’ll do everything to fulfill that promise.
After the Death of Bonifacio
Me: What if you were not killed? Do you think things would be better?
Bonifacio: Who knows? But if Aguinaldo didn’t sentence me to be executed, I think I would be killed in one of our fights. I believed that I was really destined to die that time. I couldn’t change my destiny so all I can do was to accept it. Even though I still wanted to fight for our country, I didn’t have a choice but to just accept things.
Me: What if you could go back to the time when you were still not starting the revolutionary groups, what would you do?
Bonifacio: If I could go back to that time again, I would just repeat what I started for our country. I couldn’t feel any regrets from it and I couldn’t see any wrong from what I did. Even I died because of it, I am happy and contented that I served the country with all my strength. I also feel honored with what I did.

"Tuesdays with Morrie, a Non-living Teacher"

Summary:
Mitch recalled his graduation in Brandeis University wherein he promised Morrie, his favorite professor who was crying that he would keep in touch with him even though he didn’t fulfill this promise. After many years, Morrie had been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Disease which caused him to forfeit dancing, his favorite hobby. Charlotte, wife of Morrie, wanted to take care of him but he insisted that she should continue her job teaching. While Morrie was suffering from his disease, Mitch was frustrated with the path he chose. Mitch wanted to be a musician but after his uncle died from pancreatic cancer, he gave up his dream and chose to be a well-paid journalist. He also promised his wife, Janine, that they would also have children, though he spent most of his time working to gain materialistic possessions.
One night, Mitch was flipping the channels on a television when he had heard the voice of Morrie from it. He felt numb when he saw him being interviewed by Ted Koppel, a famous newscaster whom had been friends with Morrie for a short time. He then contacted his beloved professor and went to visit him in West Newton, Massachusetts. At his first visit, he drove using his car and a producer called him. He arrived in front of Morrie’s house and he saw him waiting in front but instead of running and hugging the professor, he finished first the call with the producer which he regretted after it.
After he visited Morrie, he had many realizations in life. He would usually read tabloid about gossips of celebrities but he stopped reading for he sought the meaning of life and he realized that he would not find that from reading gossips about celebrities. A group of reporters chasing two celebrities had also knocked him over and after that incident; he realized that he chased the wrong thing. Again, he went to Boston to visit Morrie.
            Since that day, he always visited Morrie every Tuesday. They had discussions about life and Mitch created a list about things that they would talk about every week. They would have session about Death, Family, Love, Money, Culture and many more. Every time Mitch visited Morrie, he would bring foods for him. Morrie’s condition got worse too so he can’t no longer eat solid foods.       In Morrie’s childhood, he had been very poor. His father, Charlie, had been very cold and aloof to them. He didn’t provide Morrie and his brother, the love they need during the time their mother died. Charlie married Eva who was kind that she let Morrie and his brother feel the love and affection they had longed for. Because of lack in affection and love during Morrie’s childhood, he sought it out in his old age with his family and friends. One time, he said that he was trying to “enjoy being a baby again” for he was nearing to death and he had been very dependable in his situation.  One Tuesday, Janine went with Mitch in his visit to Morrie. There she granted the request of Morrie to sing for him. She is a professional singer but she sang for Morrie which moved him to tears. Mitch continued his visit with Morrie and he learned many things from it. He also brought a tape recorder so he can compile their discussions and he could create the book, “Tuesdays With Morrie”, their last thesis project. At their 14th Tuesday, Mitch felt something was different. Morrie was very week that he can’t even go to face Mitch. Mitch talked to him and for the first time, he cried for he thought that it would be the last time he would be able to hear Morrie’s voice. At Saturday, Morrie died.  Through Morrie’s insistence, Mitch called his brother, Peter, in Spain to reunite with him. After so many years, he responded and their relationship was getting better. At Morrie’s grave, Mitch talked to him like what he had said and he felt natural with it.

David -  Morrie's younger brother was sent with Morrie to a small hotel in the woods of Connecticut. He had polio and he experienced paralysis so Morrie was blaming himself for what had happened to him.
Eva -  step mother of amorrie who was kind and caring. She gave Morrie and his brother David the love and affection they had wanted to experience.
Maurie Stein -   Morrie's friend who sent some of Morrie's aphorisms to a Boston Globe reporter who eventually published a feature story on Morrie. The article encouraged Ted Koppel to conduct an interview for Morrie.

He was dying and the time left for him was very short. He needed to accept this fact and at the same time, make the most out of the time left for him.
Plot

Exposition:
            At the beginning, Mitch recalled his graduation day in Brandeis University wherein he gave Morrie a briefcase with his initials on it. He saw Morrie, his favourite professor crying so he promised to keep in touch with him even though he didn’t fulfill it. After so many years, Morrie had been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Disease which caused him to stop some of his hobbies like dancing while Mitch had been confused with the path he had chosen.
Rising Action:
            Mitch saw the interview of Ted with Morrie in the show “nightline”  in a television and he started visiting him after he knew about his sickness. Every Tuesday, they would have sessions about the meaning of life. As Mitch struggled with life, Morrie fought his disease and they both learned something from their sessions.
Climax:
            Mitch visited Morrie on the fourteenth Tuesday and he somewhat felt that it would be their last session. Morrie was stuck in his bed feeling very weak and can’t breathe properly. Morrie’s goal was to make Mitch cry and at last, Mitch cried when he had thought that it would be the last time he can speak to Morrie.\
Falling Action:
            Morrie’s death can be predicted and he died on Saturday, 4 days after their last visit. Mitch went to his funeral.
Resolution:
            Mitch talked to Morrie in his grave like what Morrie told him and he found a new perspective in life. He also called his brother in Spain to reunite with him and he told him that he loves him. At the end, you could say that Mitch and his brother would keep in touch.

"Ignored Disabilities"

When you see a person sitting silently in a corner who just let others bully him and a person who is deaf but fights the people who bully him, who would you rescue first? Is it the person sitting alone or the deaf? When you hear the word disability, what first thing goes in your mind? Is it the inability to see, speak, hear or walk? If it is, then watch this video, read this quote and have some thinking.

“Part of the problem with the word 'disabilities' is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted. But what of people who can't feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren't able to form close and strong relationships? And people who cannot find fulfilment in their lives or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities.”
― Fred Rogers, The World According to Mister Rogers: Important Things to Remember

Disability doesn’t just talk about inability in physical skills; it also speaks about inability to express something because of several factors stopping you. Handicap persons’ disabilities can be seen and people can give attention to them quickly. They can help and make them happy. They sympathize with their situations and they encourage them to be strong. But how about others who have disabilities too? Others who have disabilities that are not known as ‘disabilities’ by others. I am not saying that you should not pay attention to people with physical disabilities; I’m just saying that we should also pay attention to those people who suffer without us knowing.

The feeling of having words unsaid, feelings unexpressed, and actions not made is painful. Everything is kept in your heart like you can’t breathe at all. You want to say it but you can’t. You want to do the right thing but you can’t. You want to be happy but you still can’t. Everything seems to be opposite as what you wishes them to happen. Having this problem is hard but you need to be strong. Always talk to God. Pray to Him and He will guide you in your life.  Learn to stand for the right thing. Don’t let others affect your life in a negative way. Be open too with your parents. Always talk about your situation whether it is good or not. Your family is the one that can understand you the most and they love you. No matter what happens, they are always with you and they are the one who knows you the most aside from yourself.  Be strong, really really strong. There are many problems that would test you. If ever you are really hurt and you can’t hold it anymore, just cry. Crying is not bad even if you are a boy or a girl. This just shows that you are courageous enough to show what you really feel.  Be sociable too even in a slight way. Learn to have friends with others so aside from your family, you’ll have a shoulder to cry on and at the same time you lend your shoulder to them. Don’t be afraid to face problems because they are part of your life. Just go with the flow and you can surpass them one by one. Always remember that there is light at the end of a dark path and you always have God and family by your side who will not leave you nor betray you.

Marks

Everyone is afraid of being forgotten. All wants to be remembered even in just simple ways as long as they have some space in others’ hearts. People are doing their best in socializing with others so they can create unforgettable memories with each other. Some are wearing masks so they will look good and some show their true selves for they want others to know the truth about themselves.  They are doing these to make an image about themselves that would stay in the hearts of others forever. Unfortunately, some are still forgotten.  Even though they do things that are unexceptional, the impact they create to others are not that enough for them to stay in their hearts forever. Let’s say that their effect is not that huge for others to remember him. But still, I think the kind of person still matters in terms of valuing others presence. I think even though you don’t have a big impact on others, if the person really wants to remember you, no matter how many decades would have passed, he will still remember you. People who really valued you as a friend or a companion can recall the memories you had with each other. They can remember your attitude, the way you speak, appearance and many more depending on what you had done during the past.
For me, it doesn't really matter whether they remember me or not, as long as they are not doing bad things behind me, I’ll be good to them. But still I can say, being remembered is somewhat touching and the feeling is priceless. As if that person really values you and treats you well. No matter how long you haven’t communicated with each other, he can still remember you.  And if I’ll choose what I want them to remember about me, of course I want them to remember my oh- so -great kindness! Kidding aside, I want them to remember the real me. The real me that they see every day. The real me that they have to deal with. The real me who interacts with them every time we are together.
I have been living to pursue a goal in life. On my way, I interact with others and show them some of my different traits that are true. Being jolly every time we talk to each other is one of my trait that is usually seen. Seeing others smile and laugh because of my jokes can also make me happy on my part.  It also lessens the stress from school activities and can bring good vibes in the surroundings. I usually create jokes that are somewhat with sense but most of the time with no sense. I unintentionally make gestures that are funny and I’ll just notice that it is funny when some of my classmates start laughing and then I laugh too. I am a sociable person too and I want them to remember the talkative Nicole who most of the time starts the conversation about a random topic to remove awkwardness in each part.  I want them to remember me as a person who is really funny but also becomes serious in some situations. When there is an urgent matter or issue, I always become serious. For me, cheerfulness should be at place or let’s just say enough. There should be situations where you will be very cheerful or not. I am also responsible when it comes to academic matters but I see to it that everyone is participating in group works. I've learned my lesson and I want everyone to cooperate so there will be no hard feelings and everyone is worthy for their scores. The reasons for my actions every day are not     because they are needed but because I want to build a good relationship with them. I want to leave an impact to them that would last and at the same time receive some impacts from them that I wouldn't forget.
I know time will come and we will all separate ways. We’ll walk on our different paths.  I wish everyone will treasure every memory we had and we’ll not forget each other. I hope that we’ll all meet at some parts of the road and we’ll greet each other that would turn to a long talk like we’re back in the old days.

Changed for the Better

A hero is someone who can make a difference in your life.  He can influence you to change for the better without noticing it. Whenever you are with him, you feel safe and comfortable. All your worries and fears are vanishing and your strength seems to appear.  Considering a person as the hero of your life is not that simple. You need to evaluate things and choose a deserving one. As for me, I choose my grandmother.
My Grandmother ( Camera 360 haha)
My grandmother is Nenita C. Casasola. She was born on May 24, 1951. She is a loving daughter to her mother, a caring older sister to her siblings, a responsible mother to her children and a thoughtful grandmother to her grandchildren. She started working at an early age to help in sustaining the lives of her siblings. Even though she wanted to go to school, she didn't have a choice but to start working. At an early age, she learned to be disciplined and independent. After many years, she met Alejandro C. Casasola and they built a new family. They had seven children and together they raise them. Even though they are poor, they strived hard so all of their children will be able to go to school. But after many years, my grandfather died and she became a widow at the age of 42. It was hard on her part since she needed to raise 7 children on her own starting that time. She was strong and giving up didn't crossed her mind and she focused on giving her children a good life. She worked hard for them until her eldest daughter, my mother, graduated and some of her children were on college already. For her, education is necessary to one’s life so value the chance when you have it. Also, she believed that not all educated people have good attitudes; it still depends on the person.
                When I was still an ankle-biter, my grandmother had been the one who always help me in different things. From the time I bathe up to the time I sleep, she was always there for me. Although my parents, aunts and uncles were also there, she was still the one who led them. There were times when I did silly things like breaking glasses just for fun. Some might lose their patience but she didn't. Instead of scolding me, she understood me as a child and she just bought new glasses made of stainless. (Less harm, less worries) During my innocent days as a child, my grandmother was the one who teach me different things aside from my mother. She taught me the values in life and the difference of right from wrong. She also sacrificed so many things during my school days. As I start going to school, I always fear that I might get scolded or something bad would happen to me. My grandmother was the one who accompany me to school and she didn't leave me because she knew that I will cry. She’ll endure the hot weather and boredom because she wanted the best for me. She sacrificed as long as I gain knowledge from school. During morning, she would wake me up and prepare everything, and then we would go to school. I never heard a complaint from her even I know everything she did were not pieces of cake. Whenever I was down in the dumps, she would show her smile and she would cheer me up so I would feel better. Whenever I have assignments, she would help me to answer them. She also praised me when I had a good performance in school. She also held her horses whenever I kept asking things with no big deal. There was also I time in school when I would receive a mind’s worth because of a contest and my grandmother was the one who went with me on stage. At home, she said, “Nako Nicole, umakyat pa tuloy ako sa stage dahil sayo.” My mother said, “Alam mo bang hindi iyan umaakyat sa stage dati pag ako o si Ryan ang may award, lagi kaming may proxy pero maswerte ka.” Aside from these, there were still many experiences I had with my grandmother which tightened our bond with each other.

                My grandmother had a big part in molding my attitude, behavior and my whole self as I start to wander in this world. Without her, I think I wouldn't be like this now. She prepared me so I can face the hard part of this world. She shaped me to a better individual who will learn to be strong in challenges and who will always remember her advices and words about life.

"3 Stages of High School, Grade 7- 9"

Considered as the happiest stage in life,
By men and women who had finished their race.
All lucky people had been in this phase,
Satisfied or not by their experiences;
They continue life with great memories

First, the 7th grade,
Started as a flower bud that was still an outcast;
Observing others silently in a corner;
Sometimes approaching them once or twice;
But the feeling of being unwelcome is still present.

There are times when you feel nostalgic about the past;
Wishing to be an elementary student once again;
Remembering the happy days back then;
When you are with your friends and close teachers;
Enjoying and sharing moments.

Going to school during the earlier months is really lifeless.
Attending, listening to lessons and then going home;
That cycle seems to be endless.
Doing your daily activities just for compliance,
While the true purpose is being ignored.

Time passed by without noticing it,
And that flower bud blooms slowly part by part;
Improving physically, mentally and even socially
That having friends had been a thing to her;
And everything at first, seemed to be opposite.

The shy type flower bud bloomed completely.
She had been out of her small world.
Showing her true self without hesitance;
Learning to communicate with others;
And willingly adapting to the new environment.

Next is the 8th grade,
Another journey had began;
New set of activities and responsibilities,
Time to reunite with friends;
And coping to a new environment again.

The usual first day,
Shy and silent at first,
Keenly observing classmates;
Communicating comfortably with friends;
And starting new friendship with others.

After the adaptation level,
Everybody acted normal;
No sign of awkwardness;
But only closeness.
This showed the great bond in each other.

In terms of school stuff,
The competition had been tight;
Not just academically but also in terms of extra-curricular.
Everybody showed interest on having triumph;
Working hard but remaining sport.

Even though there are competitions,
Friendship still dominated that idea;
During field trips and activities,
Unforgettable moments were captured;
And the genuine smile of each remained in their hearts.

The third one is the 9th grade,
Second to the last step in Junior High School,
A hard stage for everyone,
Considered too as a preparation stage
Because of the responsibilities waiting in being a Senior.

For the first two weeks,
Many things had happened.
Almost everybody had adapted to the place,
Each are comfortable with each other;
And everyone enjoyed learning new facts and knowledge.

Looking forward to the next happenings;
That can bring thrill and spice in the stage of each;
Not minding the doubts in mind;
But being strong to face each challenge
And excited to experience something extraordinary.

“Adapting to a New Environment”
Staying in a place for a long period of time can leave you an attachment to the place and the people who were with you during that time. This place seemed to be your comfort zone since you had adapted to the environment but nothing is permanent in this world. We need to move forward and take our new path. We’ll meet different people, go to other places and do other unusual tasks but we need to be strong and optimistic so we can survive no matter what.
                This time, we are now on the 9th grade, juniors. Another step was taken and we are now preparing for the new challenges to come. First week of school and everything seemed to be new. The room, teachers, schedule, some of the classmates and environment were different from the previous one but that didn't stop us to adapt. We are persistent to be comfortable to the new environment so we interacted to our friends and classmates even though we are not close to some of them. We laughed, shared jokes and narrated some stories so we can build a great bond with each other. There are times when we felt awkward but that awkwardness eventually losses when we started to talk. To create new friends, you need to do the first move. Even though they think you are an FC (feeling close), you should not be bothered since you really want to be friends of him or her.
                During the first day of classes, I can say I still have a vacation hangover that time. I still want to stay in our house and do different stuffs but at the same time I feel  excited for the new school year. I’ll blame the time for being fast and have reminiscence about the days I've wasted and after the drama; I’ll still go to school. Upon arriving, my former classmates greeted me and I can observe that they are all really happy. Having company with them is really nice that they can bring good vibes to you. No time is wasted when you are with them. Our section is considered as a jolly section that consists of students with different personalities but always unites for the sake of everyone. We joyfully welcomed our four new classmates and we don’t let them feel that they are not belonging to the class. As much as possible, we want them to be comfortable with us which I think is happening, to some of them.
                After that, we took diagnostic tests and other pre-assessment tests. Most of them are hard but still bearable. We also had the choosing of club and that made me happy so I can relax my mind from the stressful tests. I chose Science Club since I really liked this club since Grade 7. I was happy that I got a position and at the same time excited for the upcoming projects. Real classes started after this. We had activities, assignments, reports and other works but I was still glad that they aren't too many.
                Time flies really fast and a week had passed without us noticing. We survived a week with a smile. Finally, we had experienced the appetizer of being a junior and we are still looking forward to the side dish and of course, the main dish.
