Alma Mater, Dearest School

Now that we are near turning Grade 10, grades 11 and 12 are almost within reach. Many schools and universities are offering these grade levels but where am I going to conduct these? Am I going to choose studying in other schools or I’ll continue studying in CavSci?
Today as I can see myself, I know that I’ve changed a lot. Before I started studying in CavSci, I can say I was still a different person. Back then, I wasn’t matured as I am right now. Before, I was still impatient, hot-headed, and prideful and many more. But as time passes by and as I experienced a lot of struggles here in CavSci, I’ve changed a lot. The impatient and hot-headed Nicole learned to wait and to remain calm. The prideful Nicole learned to lower her ego when needed and learned to socialize with many people. Although there are a lot of struggles which made my journey hard, I can still say that they are worth it because its product is also good, which is myself. I think without the hardships and struggles, I wouldn’t be like this. I wouldn’t be as strong as I am now and I would remain like my old self, without improvements and still amateur. Aside from improvements in my attitude, I also experienced developments in intellectual aspect. I gained a lot of knowledge which will never be removed from me. All in all, this institution really helped me in shaping my whole self behaviorally and intellectually. I am really thankful in this institution for molding me in a better individual. So with these, do you think I’d rather take my grades 11 and 12 in other schools if there is an opportunity CavSci? Definitely not.
If ever I will pass the admission test, I want to take my grades 11 and 12 in CavSci. Aside from knowing the benefits I can gain from the school, it is somewhat giving your deepest gratitude and being loyal to your Alma Mater. Also, since I know the school personally, I’m pretty confident that this would help me a lot and this wouldn’t let me take the wrong path. I trust CavSci and I’d rather experience hardships again in a place I’m used to, for I know at the end, these hardships would yield an astonishing product that would help me a lot in the future.

Selfless Sacrifice

Life involves sacrifices. They seemed inevitable for they are part of it. They usually arise from the self-less acts of every individual in this world. No matter how big or small these sacrifices are, the important thing is that they are made for the benefit of many. The incident happened to the Fallen 44 still seemed to be fresh in all our minds. Their heroic deeds and unselfish act save countless lives of people. They left a great memory to everyone that I wished to remain forever.

Leaving your family for a dangerous mission is a difficult thing to do. Being involved to an unsafe mission is a hard thing but the idea of leaving your family without assurance that you can go back to them again, alive, is harder than this. The heroic deed done by the fallen 44 was really priceless. They had done something that saved countless lives of people to the extent that they sacrificed their lives for them. This heroic act shouldn’t be wasted nor forgotten. Let’s not waste all their hard works just for nothing. Justice should be prevailed and their goal from the start should be continued and fulfilled.
Although I’m not the one directly saved like the people in Mindanao, I would like to give my deepest gratitude to them. They have done something that I believe, concerns all people here in the Philippines. With their act, everyone learned something from them. We all got benefit from them and we should not forget about this. I salute you fallen 44! I wished your greatness would remain alive forever.

9 Violations in CNSHS

Nicole seemed to be taking the wrong path while in school. She doesn’t care whether she violates some rules. All she thinks is that she’ll graduate soon and it is her life so they shouldn’t meddle with her business. One time, she found herself in front of their school. It seemed creepy since the atmosphere is dull. She didn’t mind it and she saw light in a part of the school so she went to it but suddenly a terror staff went on her way. The staff seemed furious so she seemed to be afraid of her. Suddenly a girl came which happened to be the SSG Officer that Nicole admired. She asked if she can send the furious staff away but the Officer said she can’t so they need to travel in another path and they should pass with the 9 Pavilions of school first. She introduced herself as Neah and she volunteered to be her guide since she knew the place better that Nicole. Nicole agreed so they started their journey in the 9 Pavilions of School.
Ante-School- Before entering the Gate of School, they saw students who are outside the gate. Neah told Nicole that this is where the students without IDs are located. They are not yet entering the school for they are denied to enter since there is a rule posted in the Gate of School “NO ID, NO ENTRY!” Not entering the school means they don’t have a chance to join the class that time. Being not inside the school doesn’t also mean that they aren’t going to experience punishment. Their punishment seemed to be harsh for they can’t go inside the school and they’ll not have a chance to study for that time and considering they are students, this seemed shameful. A teacher would reprimand them and they would be sent back to their homes. Nicole pitied them for they haven’t study that day but Neah told her that they are going to enter the Gate of School now.
1st Station- Late Students
Here, Nicole saw few students being reprimanded by a teacher. Most of them are Juniors and Seniors but she also saw some freshmen and sophomores. The teacher turned on an alarm clock which produces a loud and irritating sound. This made Nicole shocked so she covered her ears. Neah also covered her ears because she can’t still bear hearing the sound even though she had heard it for many times. The students were exposed to these alarms in a long period of time. Nicole and Neah walked in a distance somewhat far to the students and she asked her the reason for punishing the students like that. Neah explained that the students there are not paying attention to their alarm clocks during morning so they are being late that’s why in that way, they would be reminded to prepare already when they hear their alarm clocks ring. She also added that their parents who woke them up can also be considered their alarm clocks. Nicole was amazed by the explanation. She reminded herself of not being late for she can’t endure to hear that irritating sound again.
2nd Pavilion- Incomplete Stuffs
Nicole and Neah moved to the next station where students who are in incomplete uniforms are located. Their punishment is to recite a phrase saying not to forget the incomplete part of the uniform again while doing jumping jacks for 2 hours without resting. Students who violated some minor rules like having improper haircuts, dyeing the hair, having nail polish, and other more are also located here. Their punishment is different to those who have incomplete uniform. For instance, people who have improper haircut are force to cut their hair then counting each hair. Those who dyed their hair are forced to dye their fur and also eyebrows with a different color then dye them again with black in a continuous manner. The last group that has nail polish is forced to put nail polish to all the people in this station while closing their eyes. Nicole pitied them but she laughed after seeing the nail polish being accidentally placed to the nose of the other person.
3rd Station- Noisy Forever
Nicole and Neah moved to the next station where students are located inside a room specifically the ICT Room and they are forced to shout and yell to each other for many hours. Their noisiness is released here. They can’t rest and stay quiet for a while and they should shout and create noise continuously. Someone yelled to Nicole and she was shocked. Being playful, she shouted too so the result, they shouted to each other. Neah told her to stop and she can’t bear the noisiness anymore so they moved to the next station
4th Station- Speak NO More
As Nicole moved to the next station, she was shocked seeing students with mouths that are sewn. She asked someone why are their mouths sewn but unfortunately they aren’t answering. Nicole was starting to get irritated because no one answers her. Then Neah reminded her that they couldn’t speak since their mouths are sewn. Nicole laughed in her mind after realizing that she was like a stupid there. Nicole just asked Neah the details about the people here. She explained that all students who were not speaking in English are located here. Their mouths are sewn since they don’t want to speak in English so it’s better if they can’t speak at all. After moving to the next station, Nicole reminded herself not to forget speaking in English for she can’t bear her mouth being sewn.
5th Station- Vandal Forever
Those who committed vandalism are here. They are located in the stockroom of the school and they are forced to do vandalism forever. Chairs, broken tables and other equipment are here and they are punished to put vandals in all these things forever. There is also a wall where they are forced to do vandalism like writing to the wall using a ballpen and they need to fill all the spaces in the wall with marks. After the wall has been full with marks, it would be erased and vandalism would be endless here.
6th Station- No assignment, No Projects
Those who not did their assignments and projects are located here. As punishment, they are forced to do all their assignment and project 100 times. Someone begged to stop this but it’s too late since is here already.
7th station- Boo!!! lly!!!
Those who are bullies are located here. A monstrous officer is here that is assigned to bully all the bullies here forever. They would be teased and humiliated here. One person has been so wet because eggs were thrown to him. Nicole pitied them but she can’t do something about it.
8th Station- Cheating
Those who cheated in exams, activities and other exercises at schools are here. Their eyes are sewn and their necks are shortened. They are submerged to fire forming high scores so they get what they want.
9th Station- Violence
Those who committed violence towards own classmates or teachers are here. They are kick-out of the school literally and figuratively or sometimes expulsion is also done. Nicole saw a person begging to stay but unfortunately a vehement kick from the officer caused him to be out of school.

Nicole woke up from a dream and her heart beats so fast. She can’t remember the whole details in her dream but she saw a paper in her hand. The paper says “9 major violations in CNSHS, Don’t dare commit one”. After she saw it, she felt goose bumps all over her body and she promised not to commit any violations at school anymore.

Till Next Time

Everyone was so excited in the visit of our Pope here in the Philippines. We know that this happens only once every decade or few years so almost everybody prepared and planned things so they can see the Pope in personal. Honestly at first, I also want to see the Pope but I was not doing an effort like telling my parents to go in Manila. I was contented seeing him on the television for I think that going with the crowd in Manila is so hard. It was like I am already contented in seeing him a television for I think that travelling up to Manila is so tiring.
There came the day of arrival of Pope Francis. I watched it on a television while it was being aired live on it. By seeing him on the television, I felt something rejoicing on my chest. It was like happiness exists in the whole country. The mere presence of the pope in the country has a big effect towards everyone. I watched masses he held and I also searched some facts about our pope in the internet. I admired him a lot after knowing things he had done.
Another mass was held in Tacloban. I also watched the arrival of pope to Tacloban in that television. While the people there are waiting for the plane the pope is riding to arrive, it seemed that I am also feeling what they are feeling. I was also excited with the arrival of the Pope. Then the plane was now seen, until he walked down from the plane. The joy felt of the people who waited for him patiently was also felt by me. Watching the pope going down from the plane and riding the vehicle somewhat amazed me. Even though it was somewhat raining, the pope went down from the plane without an umbrella. I really admired him. I felt like blessed for I can see the pope. Suddenly, I felt the urge of seeing him in personal.

With his stay here in the Philippines, the atmosphere seemed light and holy. By just seeing him on the television, I am somewhat blessed and it feels like I am also there with him. I learned a lot from him. From his nice advises and beliefs, I gained more knowledge. I wished more people would be inspired by our Pope aside from us. I wished Pope Francis would come back here in Philippines soon where I can have the chance to see him and when that time comes, I would not waste that opportunity.

Right Things over Wrong Ones

Working in abroad seemed to be inevitable nowadays. People nowadays are wise and they stick to things that would help them succeed easily. Though sacrifices are part of it, they  endure it for they know after the long sorrow, there will be happines. Going to other countries to work is a hard thing to do, but for the country and especially the family, people endure this difficulty. Being away with the comfort zones and living in a new different place is difficult but for the sake of loved ones, people are able to survive the nostalgia.  Obviously, there are so many positive things gained from this like high economic rate, financial supply for the family and experiences gained from other countries. The economic rate of the country progresses and every dollar sent by each OFW inside the country helps a lot in economic progression. With this, do you think it is still better to stop OFWs in going abroad to work?
Our country always dream to be one of the progressive country worldwide. The money brought inside the coutry by OFWs had a big part in economic progression so politicians encouraged people to work abroad. Mostly people are encouraged to go abroad because of its help in their family. They want the best for their children in the present and future. Usually, children with parents in abroad have an average or wealthy life. They usually get what they want but their problem is mostly about relationships. They aren’t that close to their parents and sometimes they also commit rebellion. These are some of the negative effects brought by working abroad but definitely with the right things done, these will not happen. People in abroad can utilize the new technology to keep in touch with their loved ones. They have a choice to do this and  if they want to have a nice relationship with their family, they should do the move. They should always talk everyday; they should have a bonding twice a year or more; and they should always be transparent to each other about what’s happening in their lives. With these, do you thinks stopping OFWs to go abroad has justice?
These days, if you aren’t that wise, you’ll not succeed. People working abroad isn’t a bad thing for as long as no negative effects are done. The choice of having the existence of these negative effects is with the people so the freedom of working in abroad or not should be given. Also remember that our country isn’t that progressive so might us help to improve it. Going to abroad to learn new experiences and skills then going back here to impart the new knowledge to other Filipinos is a nice way in helping our country to be developed. Every country should help each other to be successful. Every person is a part of this nation so we should give their freedom to help in building the best Philippines that might exist.

True love will never forget

Romeo arrived earlier than Paris in the tomb of Juliet. He mourned and he kissed Juliet first before ending his life through the poison he got from Apothecary. Juliet woke up and realized that Romeo had killed himself for he thought that she had been dead. Juliet cried and she decided to follow Romeo by ending her life too. She reached for the vial but it was already empty. She saw a dagger and she was about to stab herself when Paris came. Paris stopped her from killing herself. He did everything to convince her to go back to Verona but she didn’t listen to him. Good thing some servants arrived and Paris commanded them to take Juliet back to Capulet’s Mansion. They held both hands of Juliet so she wasn’t able to kill herself.
Juliet became very depressed. She wouldn’t eat, talk and all she just did was to cry every night.  On the other hand, the Montague visit the tomb where Romeo had died. They were very sad and they had investigated what caused his death. They saw a vial in a corner so a servant was commanded to find where Romeo got the poison. They had discovered that it was from Apothecary. Apothecary revealed that it wasn’t a poison that would kill a person; it was just a potion that would make the body sleeping for 48 hours like he was already dead and it would also cause amnesia. Upon hearing this, they went to the tomb to get his body. The Montague instructed Benvolio to bring Romeo in Combio, a faraway place, so he can restart a new life there away from Juliet and away from danger.
After many years, Juliet had already moved on. She seemed to be back to her normal state though there still a part of her that lacked. Romeo was succeeding in his life. He became a nice son and he fulfilled his duties well. Romeo and Juliet’s path crossed and just like their first meeting, they would fall in love with each other. Romeo would approach Juliet and Juliet would be very surprised. Juliet was almost in tears when Romeo had kissed her hand. Even though Romeo had forgotten about their past, he would still love Juliet like no one else. Their families are still against their relationship until they had thought of a plan.

One day, they both called their families to go to a certain place in Combio. Here they would do their plan. Both families are intrigued by the fact that they were both called in the certain place in Combio. Romeo and Juliet arrived with their hands intertwined together. Both families were surprised and they kept on insisting to stop their relationship. Romeo and Juliet showed their hands holding a vial each with a poison inside. They told them that if they would keep on being against their relationship, they would just end both their lives so they can enjoy being together in heaven. This plan seemed to be ridiculous but it worked out. The family decided to end hating each other for the sake of their children. With these, they got married and had a child named Julio.  They lived peacefully though they had faced many struggles in life.

Blog 5

Dear Teachers
 Good day Ma’am!
First of all, I want to say thank you for everything. I want to give my deepest gratitude to all of you.
Since the first time we stepped on the gates of our schools; you were there already; welcoming us in our new second home. Even though you still don’t know us, you welcomed us like you knew us very well. You guided us to our rooms and then the real goal started. You taught us lessons in acads and values as well.  The lessons you gave us every day are priceless compared to other things. Aside from these academic stuffs, the values you imparted to us are very significant in our lives, You molded us to better individuals. I couldn’t imagine myself being like this without every one of you.
Things aren’t always perfect. There are times when we had some misunderstandings because of our behaviors.  We know that we have so many flaws and imperfections in life but you accepted us wholeheartedly. The role you had played in our lives was incomparable and I can say you had played that role better than anyone else.
I can compare you all to a book. Books that come in different types, styles and genres. Books that provide different types of knowledge. Usually, you’re like a textbook who gives us information about the everyday lessons in different subjects. Sometimes you’re like a humorous book that makes us happy whenever we feel down and lights up the mood in the class. There are times when you are like a Drama book that tells us some real experiences in life that gives us lessons. You can also be a guide book that tells us what to do in a certain situation. You guide us in our happy and dark times in school. You also tend to be a romance book who let us feel the love from a second mother and as teacher. Lastly, you are like a bible because you are unique and special and at the same time, you are very important to us.

Again, I want to say thank you for everything. Happy Teachers’ Day Ma’am. Enjoy your day and God bless!
